Well lets start with a little about me.

I grew up in a small town in Maine, known more for its cow population than its people population. My parents bought a 140 year old farm house, because of whatmy mom will never live down "It was full of character". Unfortunately in my Dads head character meant $$$$$, but in the long run it has made a nice home for them, and I greatly enjoyed growing up there.

One of the things big in Maine is everyone has a hobby, you need to, where the closest mall is an hour away and a "local" restaurarant is 15 min away having a hobby, or many is a large part of Maine life. Neddless to say I have many hobbies, I hunt, I fish, I am into sports, and anything that flys is a passion of mine. I fly R/C Aiplanes, it is my big passion and something I have been doing for close to 6 years now.

I went to school at Maine Maritime Academy. Maine Maritime is primarily a school to teach young men and women to be merchant sailors, whether that be running the deck, or running the engine room. Myself I chose the engine room side of it, and graduated with a BS in Marine Engineering Operations. Now Maine Maritime certainly wasn't the "funnest" of college experiences, but overall I enjoyed myself there. I was able to see a larger portion of the world while doing so visiting Spain, France, Italy, Gibralter, Sardinia, Puerto Rico, Brazil, Nova Scotia, and various US ports. Being able to say I have seen the leaning tower of Pisa, The 300 year old cathedrals of france, the beaches of spain and brazil, and whales breeching in the bay of fundy is something I hold dear to my heart.

Upon Graduating i took my first job with the American Bureau of Shipping. ABS, is a classification society of ships and I was a surveyor. Basically an inspector for a set of rules---much like your car has to get inspected--so dont ships. ABS took me to Philadelphia, which seemed all to fitting as I am a Die Hard Eagles and Flyers fan. (Explanation saved for another entry) ABS philly taught me so much, my first day on the job I got to look at a ship with a 12 foot hole in her side. The only trouble with ABS philly was it was 9 hours from my family, my Boss recognized this and when the opportunity for a transfer to Rhode Island came up---he put me in for it.

Memorial Day 2004 I headed for what I thought was going to be another temporary 2-3 year assignment. I was sent up to oversee a small Barge Construction Yard named Senesco Marine. The company immediately impressed me with their strive for quailty and overall positive attitude, which is why now I work for them!

In 2005 I met the love of my life at my best friends 4th of July BBQ. She was everything I was looking for in a woman, gorgeous, smart, funny, well spoken, self sufficient, and a Sam Adams drinker. Although I did not get her number that night, the unfortunate passing of a friends grandmother brought us together one more time, this time I got her number. We went on our first date a few days later (late night pancakes at Dennys, she paid)--and we havent been apart ever since. We were married in 2008 and I love her more everyday.

In 2009 we decided to expand our family, and in May after 3 months of trying my beautiful wife gave me the best news any man wants to hear "I'm preganant", Shortly thereafter we found out we were going to have a baby boy, and on February 2nd after 18hrs of labor Michael William or "Liam" joined our world and family. Since then he has become our lives and world, and each day is a new adventure!
